North West Rogaine Series 2025 - Event # 1
A 90 minute rogaine starting at 11am, finishing 12.30pm, part of the three-part Rogaine Series run by North West Orienteering Club. Heaps of Spot Prizes, plus Prizes for Category Winners & Series Winners.
ALL participants must report to registration including those who have pre-entered via enterO
- 9.00am: Registration Opens
9.30am: Coaches available
10.30am: Maps Out - 30 mins allowed for planning
11.00am: Mass start
12.30pm: Event finish time - 90 minutes after the start. Penalty points at 20 points per minute are deducted from your overall score for a return after 12.30pm
1pmish: Prize-giving with prizes for all grade winners as well as heaps of spot prizes thanks to our series sponsor Bivouac Outdoor & our North West Club sponsor, GrazeNZ. Thanks also to The Riverhead and Getting Lost for their donations. And our legendary lolly scramble - we have heaps of lollies!
● We recommend you plan to arrive at the Event Centre by 9.45am at the latest, to allow 45 mins before the start time to register and make full use of your 30mins map planning time. Over 400 people have entered this event so it's going to be busy so coming early is a good idea!
● If you would like some coaching from one of our team of experienced orienteers before you start then allow time for this too. Coaching is available between 9.30 am & 10.30am; it needs to stop at 10.30am so the coaches have time to plan their own rogaine.
The rogaine events are pre-entry. Pre-Entry for this event has now closed. On-the-day entry is possible before 10.30am.
