Peninsula and Plains Orienteering Club is looking forward to welcoming all year 7-13 students from across New Zealand to the Canterbury region for the NZSS orienteering champs and NZSS rogaine champs. Join us and showcase your navigational skills, support your friends and create lasting memories in unique terrain.
NZ secondary schools orienteering champs:
All locations are within a 1-hour drive of Christchurch Airport.
Thursday 16th July 2026 - NZSS orienteering Relay. Kairaki, Waimakariri District. Mass start at 1pm.
Friday 17th July 2026 - NZSS orienteering Long Distance. Waikuku, Waimakariri District. Starts from 10.00am.
Saturday 18th July 2026 -NZSS orienteering Sprint. Lincoln University. Starts from 10.00am.
There is also a NZSS Rogaine event in the Port Hills, Christchurch on 19 July
Note that there are also public races ( ideal for family/ parents (Long/ Sprint/ Rogaine).
