President’s Introduction

Kia ora all. Thanks to Rob Garden, Marquita Gelderman & Jenny Cade for organising our third rogaine of the series. I've also been very impressed again by the willingness of first time volunteers to jump in. While the series was very profitable for us, all events were record breakers, and pushed parts of our operational capacity to the limit. We are leaning into this growth with upskilling opportunities for members, so stay tuned for them.

World Cup 2025 - Renee Beveridge's experience

World Cup Round 1 for 2025 was held in the majestic and beautiful surroundings of Idre Fjäll, north-east of the Idre Fjäll mountain resort in Sweden. The terrain is between 700-900m above sea level and was described as being mainly pre-alpine forest with old-grown trees and very few areas with lower runnability and visibility. Some areas are very detailed with a lot of features.

North West's Renee Beveridge represented New Zealand in this event and wrote about her interpretation of the terrain and her experience here.
