Most orienteering events organised by North West Orienteering Club take place on a specific day, as advertised in our events calendar.
However, there are a number of ways to go orienteering at any time of year.

Permanent CoursesTry a permanent orienteering course, with a printed map and physical, permanent markers in the terrain. |

MapRun 6 EventsMapRun6 events allow you to orienteer with a printed map, but using your mobile phone's GPS capabilities. In this case, there are no physical, permanent markers in the terrain. |

Training MapsThe Riverhead Forest training map is currently unavailable (from June 2024). This part of the Robinson Road map is scheduled for felling in the near future. |
